About Martin Breuss
Martin Breuss — Head of Content Strategy
Teaching programming since 2015
I’ve been teaching programming for more than ten years now, wearing different hats. I taught as a coding mentor, code reviewer, curriculum developer, bootcamp instructor, and instructional designer. Most of that teaching happened in Python, for example, writing CodingNomads’ three-module introductory Python course, mentoring learners at in-person bootcamps around the world, and publishing 30+ tutorials and 29 video courses.
At RealJS, I lead content strategy and shape what we teach and in what order. I think a lot about how learning to code has to change with capable AI, and what developers should really learn today. That means focusing on the mental models that help you read, judge, and steer JavaScript, whether you wrote it or an AI did.
